Growth of the Tamarack tree

I recorded my screen as the logo came together in Illustrator. This is a little over 1 hour of tinkering condensed into 30 seconds. My process involves less pen-and-paper these days; I’m glad I was able to capture it this time.

These are a bunch of logos options I presented to my client. We had 3 tree styles and 4 color options: 3 shades and 1 gradient from yellow → yellow/orange.

4 alternate concepts I came up with during the process. I played around with imagery of a crown and a pencil. Meh.
